Marek Tatala, CEO of Economic Freedom Foundation, took part in the #287 episode of the podcast “Democracy that Delivers”. In this episode, he spoke about the current situation in Poland, rule of law, economic freedom as well as his work at the Economic Freedom Foundation and Civil Development Forum.
The podcast was hosted by Ken Jaques and Marek Tatala was joined by Anna Kompanek, Director of CIPE’s Global Programs. As you can read in the episode’s description “despite their home country’s previously exemplary economic and democratic transition, our guests tell of Poland’s recently renewed struggles with rule of law, independence of the media, and political corruption.”
CIPE was founded on the principle that economic freedom and political freedom are linked. A strong private sector needs a flourishing democracy to work – and vice-versa. CIPE’s work centers on building strong democratic institutions to create an enabling environment for business and entrepreneurship to flourish.
Marek Tatala is the newest member of CIPE’s Free Enterprise and Democracy Network (FEDN).
